Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Gia Trimble moved to the U.S. to study before falling in love with community organizing and political activism. While organizing as an activist, Gia met an iconic street artist who taught her about the power of art and its various mediums of execution. This artist soon became her mentor and offered her a full-time internship, where Gia experimented with everything from graffiti to oil paintings and sculpting. At the same time, Gia swiftly immersed herself in the world of graphic design, quickly building a diverse portfolio of experimental and commercial work.
Gia can often be found in Los Angeles, poorly coaxing her dogs to behave.
